Gaming aficionados are already eagerly anticipating the release of the new models of the Acer Predator line; two notebooks developed purposefully for the most awaited 2019 videogames.
The two laptops were announced through the NextAcer 2019. And immediately caught the interest of the gaming world at large.
Over the years, Acer released many highly performing gaming computers. The brand is a leading manufacturer in the videogames industry, alongisde with the longtime opponent Asus.
The new notebooks in the Predator line have more than one card up their sleeve. And are probably going to be some of Acer’s highest grossing electronics of all years.
But what are their most interesting features? Let’s find out.
New ergonomic design for gaming keyboards
The most particular thing about the new Acer Predator Helios is by far the design. Acer put all its effort in pursuing the highest ergonomy for its new models.
If you are longtime gamers and you’re used to spend hours at the computer or console, these notebooks may offer the best comfort and ease.
Both models mount a brand new extendable HyperDrift keyboard. It allows users to get nearer to the keys while still keeping an optimal distance from the display – with benefits for both sight and neck/shoulders posture.
The new keyboards ergonomy does not only affect the player’s health, though. The two new Acer Predator computers may have altogether better performances as well.
Once the HyperDrift keyboard is extended, it releases two additional ventilation grids, increasing the air flow within the components and enabling the computers to better dissipate heat.
With the two Acer AeroBlade3D fans, all internal components will not overheat even after hours of intense gaming campaign.
Furthermore, you can always keep an eye on the five powerful heatpipes through a transparent glass panel.
It goes without saying that the keyboard of bothnotebooks is backlit and equipped with a high precision touchpad as well as the MagForce keys, which considerably enhance the feedback.
Acer Predator Helios 300
Among the two new Acer Predator, Helios 300 is perhaps the most traditional design-wise. Its appearance is not so thoroughly different from earlier Acer models.
The Helios 300 is available in two versions, either with 15.3 or 17.3 inches display. Both versions have 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution.
The elegant and classic design is enhanced with petrol-blue inserts which don’t hide the muscles of this powerful gaming computer.
Underneath the chassis, this computer has extremely high level specs. The CPU is an Intel Core i7, and the additional GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. The notebook is equipped with two SSD as well as a traditional HD, and with 32 GB RAM DDR4.
In a nutshell, this is the ideal computer for users who desire engaging, dynamic gaming experiences. With a delay time of just 3ms and hyper-fast Internet connection, your favorite games won’t be likely to freeze or lag.
When will it be available in the stores? Rumors pen its release in May, with an estimated cost of roughly 1799 eur.
Acer Predator Helios 700
A “big brother” of sort to the Helios 300, Acer Predator Helios 700 is a true war machine for the lovers of high quality videogames.
Its internal features are the product of the best gaming technology available on the market. The processor is an ultra-powerful ninth generation Intel Core i9, developed to ensure the best performances in hours of gaming.
You may cose between two GPUs – either NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or 2070.
The PredatorSense key offers a wide array of helpful info, including usage statistics, fans health, the CPU and GPU’s core temperature and the notebook’s color definition as well.
Connection speed is another perk of this computer. Helios 700 is equipped with Killer DoubleShot Pro technology with Killer Wi-Fi 6, and with a good quality Internet connection it can provide hours of enterainment without the slightest lag.
The 17 inches display has full HD resolution and the notebook also has 64GB RAM.
We are of course talking of a top class device, created for the gaming experts. And the price isn’t going to be a breeze, either. The new Acer Predator Helios 700 will be released toward the end of July, starting from a 2999 eur price range.
