Honor 9X the smartphone with the retractable camera

The main problem of the marketplace of the smartphones is the threat by the United States about the international exchanges. Huawei don’t get scared and presentes anyway its models to the european audience, with the complicity even of an announcement about an extension of the ban of Trump of 90 days. So the off-brand of Huawei announces its new smartphone: the Honor 9X.

Few later the launch of july of the top of the line, the Honor 20, it’s the time to renew the line X, which focuses to conquer even the medium range of the marketplace. The successor of Honor View 10 Lite is mostly focused on the young, but especially on the italian young, due to our interest for the brand. Infact the Honor is between the first four brands of smartphone most bought by the italian.

Right about the economic range it plays the most interesting match. The new model of Honor infact is launched for 249 euros, but it has three cameras on the back while the selfies’ one is retractable. Even the screen catches our attention, it covers the whole frontal part and it has a really particular design.

The Honor 9X

The design follows modern lines, the LCD full screen is a 6,59 inches and it covers the whole available area, there isn’t any notch. There were many attempts by the designers to retire the annoying space of the camera for a fully free screen: they started from the edge all around which hosts the devices, by passing then from the dedicated area introduced by Apple (and then copied by many other brands), until the ones under the screen.

In this case we have a pop-up camera which was already tested with the top of the line, the Honor  20. The system is mechanic, so the sensor of 16 megapixels goes out and comes back from the smartphone’s frame when we need, whitout taking any space on the screen.

But the most amazing thing is the back coloured with blue, a panel realized with 100 thousand small geometrical cards diamond shaped that, like diamonds, retract the light by creating a shap of a x. Then there is the logo, which appears only backlight, the fingerprints sensor (this though well visible) and finally the set of three cameras.

About the cameras the first sensor is 48 megapixels, with focal opening 1,8, equipped with video stabilizer. The second sensor instead is a wide angle lens with 8 megapixel that allows a vision at 120 degrees, finally the third sensor is the one used to give depth, the famous bokeh effect that allows to blur the background of the close up pictures.

The system of cameras is supported by a software of artificial intelligence to improve the night shots. It’s called Ais Super Night Mode and it uses the technology 4 in 1 Light Fusion which illuminates the scene keeping the resolution of 12 megapixel.

The other technical characteristics

Then the Honor 9X has a battery of 4000 mAh and a processor Kirin 710F, the Ram can be 4 or 6 Giga, while the internal memory can be chosen between 64 and 128 Giga, but it’s expandable until 512. On this phone there are still the jack for the pods and the usb-c door for the charge. The version Android installed is the emui 9,1 which is compatible with Android 9. The smartphone is already available and it’s sold at 249 euros, it can be chosen in two colours Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.
