Is the Disney+ catalogue only for kids?

The countdown started, it’s really missing only few days to the launch of the new streaming platform Disney+. It’s still possible to activate the annual subscription for some days with a discount of 10 euros with the pre-order. But let’s go to discover which will be the Disney+ catalagoue.

What will we find on the Disney Plus catalogue

First of all we must say that, by popular demand, the launch of the new platform isn’t the 31st of march anymore, but it was anticipated to the 24th in our area and in other areas.

The montly subscription will cost 69,99 euros, but if we buy it with the pre-order it’s possible to pay it 59,99. The subscription then will support up to 7 user profiles and 4 simultaneously screens.

But what we will find so waiting for us? Obviusly all the classic Disney cartoons starting from Lady and the Tramp to Pinocchio, from Fantasia to Robin Hood and so on The Sword in the Stone, Alice in Wonderland, the One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

There will even most recent cartoons like Frozen and the so waited sequel Frozen 2 – The Secret of Arendelle. And then all the remake of the most famous classic cartoons, on the Disney+ catalogue we will so watch The Lion King and even its live action version and so on Dumbo and Aladdin, Cinderella, The Beauty and the Beast.

Large space even for the Pixar productions, we can watch all the saga of Toy story, there will be Wall-e, Monsters & co, Up. There will be then on the platform even unreleased and not shorts like Lamp Life and the Pixar experiment between People, a serie where some of the most famous figures of the Pixar cartoons walk into the real world, while the cameras record smiles and astonished faces.

Between the movies proposed there will be even Mary Poppins and the classics from the ’90s like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, then unreleased movies like Togo, with Willem Dafoe, in a story that will follow the steps of Balto.

For the teenagers instead there will be the episodes of Violetta and Hanna Montana and there will be even original productions like Stargirl and Timmy Frana. There will be even titles like High School Musical and The World according to Jeff Goldlum.

For the youngest ones free access to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Pj Masks, Doc McStuffie, la Dottoressa Peluche, Vampirina, but even Zack & Cody and it will be even possible to watch again old series like Chip’n Dale Rescue Rangers.

Is it a platform only for kids?

The Disney+ catalogue seems infact only dedicated to the kids. However it’s so waited even the Star Wars saga, with the really waited dedicated serie: The Mandalorian. And even all the 30 Marverl films, furthermore for who loves the super heros, there will be even about 40 series about them between animation and live action.

Some original productions at the moment are stopped right because of the coronavirus, like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. But we know instead that there will be a movie WandaVision with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

We will then find Avatar and Sister Act, Mrs Doubfire, Flubber, Alice in Wonderland, Prince of Persia, Saving Mr Banks and so on.

For who loves The Simpson (which are not really appropriate for a very young audience) here you have on the Disney+ catalogue more than 500 episodes, never saw in streaming (at least for legal) until now.

But an interesting note will be even the catalogue of the documentaries of National Geographic, between which we can see the oscar prize Free Solo. Or even masterpieces that won at the Sundance Film Festival like Science Fair.

Finally there will be even original series like One Day at Disney: an amazing travel inside the background of the Disney world, from the programs, to the movies, until arriving to the doors of the Disneyland fun parks.
