The smartphones Motorola seem a little bit dormant in the last years, with not even a real top of the range able to compete with the others. But something started to change. It would be the proof for a foldable that was focusing on a future not too close yet or the desire to spotlight. Whatever is the reason what is sure is that the new Motorola Edge and Edge Plus have the right stuff to enter in the marketplace of the smartphones of high range.
A masterpiece for the eyes
What appears to a first sight, even to a less expert eye, it’s the beauty of the design of the new Motorola. Edge and Edge Plus, infact, focuse everything on a bend display that doesn’t leave not even a millimeter for the edge. It’s an edge at 90 degrees that cover besides the frontal part of the screen even the sides for their entirety.
The display Oled is the nice touch for a screen that is already amazing without not even being switched on. They are both AOD (Always On Display), which allows to view informations, which can be date and time, even while the screen is off. The Edge Plus, therefore, has even the certification HDR10+, an implementation of the High Dynamic Range.
Both have the glass on the front and on the back, a whole piece accompained by bended edges at 90 degrees. And the reader for the fingerprint, is right behind the screen.
The side buttons, finally, are really thin and they perfectly integrated themselves with the glass that caresses all the case. A real jewel to see.
Endless Edge Display isn’t only an aesthetic choice. It is, infact, even functional. With the Edge Touch it’s possible to open the notification by scrolling with the finger on the edge, or passing from an app to another. The edges, therefore, enlight themselves to catch our attention if there are some notifications, calls, alarm, the battery is low, etc.
