Redmi Note 10, the Xiaomi of medium range

Today we will show you Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, a smartphone of medium range with a great quality-price rate.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10: cheap solution

Surely it was obscured by the bigger brother, but the Redmi Note 10 of Xiaomi is the best solution for who doesn’t want to spend much.

The device has the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 678, that has good performances. It has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory and a battery of 5.000 mAh.

On the front there is a display AMOLED of 6,43 inches with a very thin frame. It isn’t the Redmi Note 10 5G, which is different only  for the support to the new generation networks, but it’s anyway a top of the line smartphone of the chinese company.

The family of the Redmi Note 10

You surely understood that the Redmi Note 10 are many. It is a family to know all together. Infact, we must analyze all the models to understand which are the differences, but especially to understand what’s really for us (beyond of the price).

Between the model that we would like to describe in our article and the Redmi Note 10 Pro the main differences are in the processor, in the cameras, in the display and in the materials.

The tactile sense of the two models is infact very different right because of the quality of the materials used to made them. The basic (199€) takes a place in the category of the smartphones of medium-low range, while the Pro (299€) is all focused on volume and manageability.

Redmi Note 10S

It very resembles the basic model, but the Note 10S is different for the Software and the main camera.

We don’t know yet the availability in Italy of the 10S, but it’s clear that if the difference will be minimal the 10S will promplty become the best choice with the basic model. Even because on the Redmi Note 10 it’s missed the chip NFC. An inexplicable choice by Xiaomi, because all the models (unlike this one) have it.

IT will not only useful, but even needed, because in the 2021 people, and especially the young audience, to which this family of smartphone is aimed, pay their transiction with the phone.

Other elements are the jack audio door, which in the Note 10S is on the bottom, the hole and the frontal frames that result to be bigger than the basic model. The optical group is less prominent and the size are more compact.

The Display Amoled

Let’s now talk about the display of the Redmi Note 10. It is an Amoled FullHD of 60 Hz. While looking it on the side it shows some coloured reflex, it’s because the display doesn’t have a complete lamination, but the readability outside is great, which makes the images of impact.

Compared with the Pro it’s missed the accuracy of the aptic feedback and the stereo speakers are less powerful. Overall though it’s a smartphone that satisfies the espectations of who buys it, for that price.

Thereforee, with the last big upgrade it was finally fixed the behaviour of the proximity sensor. It has the possibility to use 2 SIM and the door for the memory extension.

No 4G+

Even if the reception is good, the mobile phone doesn’t have the 4G+. We don’t know yet why there is this problem, but it has it with all the phone companies, so it must be a bug of the software.

Now we will talk about the autonomy. The Redmi Note 10 has a battery that lasts 2 days without need to charge it and while using it at the maximum of its potentialities. Good, isn’t it?

Important cameras

The cameras of the Redmi Note 10 are 4. They are placed on the back – besides obviusly to the selfie cam of 13 MP which is on the top on the middle.

They have double faces performances. During the day they have very good results, with pictures well cutted and nice about the chromatic and the focus.

Unfortunatelly in the evening the shots are banal. It doesn’t have a great night mode and the anitnoise filter which might correct the exposure to the light of the pictures flattens any detail.

So, even if it seems to be a software problem, this seems to be the first Xiaomi with a poor photographic quality.

It’s different the selfie mode which works well and it allows to try many effects.

We don’t suggest it for the videos

Even if it doesn’t cost a lot, we don’t suggest it especially for the 4K videos.

After the upgrade of which we were talking before the autofocus finally works, but it remains slow and the people must be as much still as possible for a high quality.

This small detail, together with the other flows that we described, doesn’t make it a really good one. Anyway, we would like to remember that if you are looking for a smartphone with a great quality-price rate and you don’t have a lot of money to spend, so the Redmi Note 10 is what you need.
